This photograph was taken when I visited a friend last week and spent some time in the garden. The place was alive with "wildlife" and this caterpillar was more than happy to pose for me! It was actually very well camoflaged in amongst the flowers ... but I saw him!!

This photograph was taken in a friend's garden when I visited last weekend. I don't normally shoot flowers, but I just could not resist the temptation, particularly when I spotted the cricket - I couldn't believe my luck!!

This photograph is taken from a series of shots taken of flowers. This is a subject that, until recently, I have actively avoided taking. However, I have now looked at the subject with fresh eyes and realise that I can look at blooms from the "non-traditional" angles and produce an image that is more in keeping with my photographic style. This is a rose that I found in a friend's garden one weekend.

This was taken during a walk around Brean and Brean Down this summer - I loved the way that the sunlight caught the raindrops on these flowers. The look so delicate but had not been harmed at all by the rain.
